OUR FOCUS:
Where we work - The Yellow Bus Foundation takes a unique approach to partnering with Canadian children facing either life-threatening/chronic illness or those young people disadvantaged through no fault of their own. We support organizations with a budget generally under $2 million and focus on grassroots charities who take a hands-on approach to their work. We work very closely with our charity partners. YBF funds a number of initiatives each year ranging from vital medical equipment for children with life-threatening illnesses, to sending children to specialized camps or fostering the emotional well being of children facing tough socio-economic situations.
How we work - YBF hosts two signature events each year. In additional, the YBF Board members personally donate funds in excess of the administrative costs of The Yellow Bus Foundation, allowing 100% of funds you send to us to go to the charities we support. YBF'S APPLICATION PROCESS IS NOW CLOSED. ELIGIBLE CHARITIES CAN CONTACT US IN 2012.
