For over 10 years the nucleus of those wishing to incorporate The Yellow Bus Foundation (YBF) held an annual 100 Hole Golf Marathon benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Toronto & Central Ontario raising over $1,000,000. These same people were members of the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish and, along with several other long time supporters, recognized an opportunity to expand their fundraising activities thereby supporting more Canadian children’s charities. YBF was formed in July 2006. In its first three years of operation the Foundation has distributed over $800,000 to Canadian children’s charities.
